Karratha Golf Club held its stableford last week – sponsored by Bridgestone Tyre Centre.
A field of 71 golfers turned up to make the most of the perfect weather and as the afternoon progressed  some great results were produced.
In the novelty prizes, the nearest to the pin on Hole 8 was Steve Oliver, Angie Rata had the honours on Hole 11 and Martin Smith on Hole 16.
Ken Willcocks had a great day taking out Nearest to the Pin on Hole 3 and Best 3rd shot on Hole 6.
Best 3rd Shot also went to Mark Smyth on Hole 4, Hole 14 was Paul Bonusiak and Ben ‘14 Inches’ Tawhiti was the best on Hole 12.
Alf Martin had the Longest Drive on Hole 17.
The top golfer on the day was Carl Kleynhans with an outstanding 46,  second place went to Paul ‘Womble’ Bonusiak with 45. Dot Abbott had a fantastic day with 44 and fourth place went to Bruce Livingstone with 43.
We have started Saturday afternoon golf, so for those of you that have to work Saturday mornings,  you might be able to fit in nine holes in the afternoon.
