Wickham disco a hit for the kids

The Wickham Youth Group (WYG) got the young people of the town bopping the night away with a disco early in June.
More than 130 children danced the night away, enjoyed a free hotdog and slushie with their entry then cleaned up on prizes given out during the night.
DJ’S Amy Kelly and Cameron Cross kept the music pumping throughout the evening.
The WYG would like to thank Rio Tinto for their valuable sponsorship and all the volunteers that helped out on the evening.
There are plans for regular discos from the WYG, so keep an eye out for the next big night.
WYG plans to hold more disco's in the future
