PHSA to hold free softball clinics
The Port Hedland Softball Association is holding softball coaching clinics between August 5-7 with all sessions free.
Everyone, from all ages and skill levels are invited to come along to join in the fun.
The clinics will be delivered by Western Flames players, Michelle Andrew, Chermai Clews, Tori Bolland and Jemma Freegard.
Friday, August 5 will be focusing on general skills and will be held at baseball diamond one for all PHSA players between 6-8pm.
On Saturday, August 6 between 9.30-11.10am, the pitching and catching session will be held at the baseball diamond one.
Then on Sunday, August 7 the junior development players session will be held at the softball diamonds for all junior players expected to attend between 9.30am-12pm.
Also on the Sunday at 3pm, will be a mixed social game with Chermai, Jemma, Tori and Michelle.

In week 10 of the Port Hedland Softball Association on Saturday, July 23 the Cougars defeated the Hawks 2, 14-10 with Bemma Spurling giving the Hawks a home run.
The Jets 1 then took on the Pirates 1, with the Jets coming out on top 12-2 with Kristy Kubala giving the Jets two home runs to be proud of.
The Rebels tried their hardest against the Cruisers, but the Cruisers were just too good, taking the win with 21-8.
The Jets 2 then defeated the Pirates 2, 27-5 and the PCYC defeated the Raiders 13-11 with Jess Templemann giving the PCYC one home run.
