A sell-out for British India
After playing their first show in the region five months ago, British India returned to play a sold out show at the Dampier Mermaid last weekend.
Before heading over to the UK to perform at the Electrical Picnic festival in Ireland, the Melbourne rock band performed to a much anticipated crowd.
Locals Hayley Welsh and Bella Gray got to hang with the band backstage after the gig and said it was just like hanging out with friends.
“They were really down to earth, they seemed like they were really passionate about what they were doing,” Hayley said.
“It was nice towards the end, when the crowd was going crazy.
“It was the first time I went to see them and I would definitely go back to see them, they were a talented bunch with their feet firmly on the ground.”
