Week five is a sporting arena for all students at Millars Well Primary.

On Wednesday August 24 we held our annual “Jumps and Throws” carnival with grades one to seven competing.

All of the children performed really well, demonstrating fantastic sportsmanship and encouraging one another to try their best.

Friday September 26 is our whole school Faction Carnival and will include events for our Kindy students up to year seven.

The children participated in a range of running and athletics activities to gain personal achievements and points for the faction they belong to.

Well done to all of our Millars kids for their excellent sporting efforts!

Congratulations and thank you to Mr Wheals for organising these two wonderful whole school events; and thank you also to the staff that gave up their own time on Friday to help make such a successful carnival.

A special assembly to commemorate the school’s history is being held on September 23 from 9:15 am, with all past and present students invited to attend.

There will be former students and staff speaking to the audience and facts shared about Millars Well Primary School’s history.

If anyone is an ex-Millars student or staff member please contact the school and speak to Principal, Gareth Palmer, about how you can assist our celebrations!
