‘Fa fa l’americano!’ is what the town was singing prior to DJ DCUP arriving at the All Seasons Hotel last weekend when he performed after already a big night with the Cool Change Fashion Show and local DJs That Woman and Panda.

The crowd was left screaming after the big muscles and toned legs of the models from Cool Change walked the walk on the catwalk, showing off the latest hottest outfits which could be purchased in our very own town.

“Life is very impressive in the Pilbara,” DJ DCUP said after the show.

“People really enjoy themselves and don’t think twice about it.”

Local DJ Panda was over the moon to be playing with such a musical icon, know for his collaboration with Yolanda Be Cool with “We No Speak Americano”.

“I spoke to friends who have played with him before at Ambar in Perth, they all had a really good response of him so I personally was really excited to play with him,” he said.

“It was a great show, a little bit more underground, but I personally really enjoyed it.

“I loved the enthusiasm from everyone, he played a really tight set.”

Local and member of the audience, Beau Cartledge said DJ DCUP is much loved in the Pilbara and is sure everyone would love to have him back to perform.

“Everyone that came had a really good time,” he said.

But don’t worry; DJ DCUP did mention that he will be back!

“I’m working on a new album at the moment and I’m hoping to have it wrapped up by the start of the New Year,” he said.

“And after that I want to do a tour around all of Australia, so I will be back then.”
