Bubble o’fun at the Dampier Fete
Dampier Primary School hosted the fete of all fetes last weekend in an afternoon filled with fun, food, music and entertainment.
There were lots of activities for kids, including face painting and art and craft activities, rides and even a haunted house.
For the dads and car-nuts there was a car and bike display, V8 nitro racing, a rope-climbing course, heaps of sideshow activities including the giant slide and a massive auction.
What really got the attention of the kids was the bubble machine.
As soon as the bubbles started, kids ran from all directions, diving into the bubbles.
Garry Booth, Dampier Idol finalists, St Paul’s Primary School choir and Dance FX took to the stage to entertain the crowds.
The funds raised will be directed towards providing facilities for physical activities for all students by way of a “space net” and fitness track.
Current health and education department priorities aim to encourage children of all ages to participate in regular exercise and physical activity.
