Tambrey to hold Aussie Day weekend
Tambrey Tavern is holding a four-day weekend to celebrate Australia Day
Australia Day is coming up quick, and to celebrate the guys at the Tambrey Tavern will be having an Australia Day Weekend Beach Party.
Everyone is welcome dressed in their best Aussie beach gear to have some fun all weekend long.
Kellie Collins from the Tambrey Tavern said Australia Day is an important day of the year to all Australians.
“Australia Day is about being proud to be Australian and about coming together,” she said.
“Karratha is a mining town; we would like to cater to everybody in celebrating regardless of their days off.”
Australia Day is the first of many theme nights to be held at the Tambrey this year.
“We are wanting to bring the fun back to Karratha when you have a night out not just head down to the local pub,” Kellie said.
“This year will bring lots of new and exciting things for the Tambrey we will be showing plenty of sports on WA’s biggest screen, live entertainment, theme nights, new menus and much more.”
On Australia Day there will be the Hottest 100, a free sausage sizzle, Australia barbecue, giveaways galore and special beach cocktails.
On January 27, there will be live music from 7pm, on the 28th there will be a beach party with the best playlist in town and cocktails specials and on the 29th, there will be live music from 3pm.
