Crazy Hair Day at St Paul’s
The students at St Paul’s Primary School were treated to a day of colour when the school celebrated Crazy Hair Day on March 16.
The students were encouraged to give a gold coin donation to help raise funds for the Luekeamia Foundation.
A hair spray station was also set up, where parents came in and sprayed the student’s hair all different colours.
There was blue, green, pink, red, yellow and even a mixture of all.
Principal Santinto Giancono said that is was great to see everyone from the students to the staff getting involved.
Mr Giancono himself had a number of different wigs that he wore during the day including a hairstyle that captured the ‘Billy Ray Cyrus’ in him.
“I have seen so many wild and wonderful designs that the kids have come up with,” he said.
“This (Crazy Hair Day) is so important as it gets kids involved and made aware of the cause at a young age.”
