Brenda Njeru will speak at the Soroptimists' April dinner meeting

Soroptimists International – Karratha and Districts are very pleased to have Brenda Njeru come along to speak at their monthly dinner meeting for April.

Ms Njeru, an electrical engineer for Woodside, is a young woman of many talents and a great deal of enthusiasm.

Her passion is inspiring others to make a change, in particular by her work in ‘Healing Africa From Within’.

This project looks at different ways to make a change and also show the beauty of Africa from the eyes of someone who loves it.

Ms Njeru has talked for other groups, including Rotary International and radio programs.

Her talk for the dinner evening will focus on women in Africa, as well as her own drive to inspire and incite others to achieve positive change.

The Karratha Soropotimists group hold regular dinner meetings to bring together women in the community and highlight their achievements and work.

These are light hearted and relaxed evenings to which both residents and visitors to the region are invited.

This month’s meeting featuring Ms Njeru, will be held at the Karratha International Hotel, in the Goldfinch room from 6.30pm on April 4 at a cost of $25 per person.

The club welcomes all newcomers who would like to enjoy an informative and inspiring evening out with friendly and welcoming women.
