Caitlin Bassett scores in the Pilbara
Fever player and Australian Diamonds goal shooter Caitlin Bassett was in Karratha last week to host shooting clinics with local netball enthusiasts.
Two clinics were held, a junior clinic followed by a senior clinic.
The event was a hit with North West shooters who agreed if was exciting to have a player of Caitlin’s calibre mentoring local players.
Netball is really heating up this season, and with so much youth development happening in the North West region, young players are on board to soak it all up.
Brooke Short organised a carnival between two Hedland teams and two Karratha teams of 12-year-olds.
Each team played three games consisting of 10 minute quarters.
The event was organised to get the girls playing different people and it gave the Karratha girls a chance to see other talent.
