On October 24th, Wickham Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service held their 35th Annual Dinner at Wickham Fire Station.

Established as a private brigade in 1974 by Cliff Robe River mining, the brigade now operates under the Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA).
With 14 active and three support members, Wickham VFRS attends Fires and Emergencies in the Wickham and surrounding areas.
The night was attended by past and current members and their partners, representatives from FESA, Rio Tinto and the WA Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association.
The night also recognised Michael “Doggie” Birch’s 25th Year of active service with the brigade, and welcomed two new life members in Mr Jamie Copeland and Mr Andrew Doyle.
A great night was had by all.
