Last Wednesday Coolawanya Rd in the Karratha Industrial Estate was blocked off for more than an hour as emergency and fire and rescue workers collected run away gas bottles.

A delivery truck lost dozens of gas bottles within meters the BOC gas depot.
One eyewitness said there were “dozens of hissing gas bottles, laying all over the road, however the situation was dealt with quickly.”
Police and firefighters prevented traffic from using the road until the situation was dealt with.
All the bottles were collected safely and nobody was injured.
