Outdoor activity at the new school.

The senior students in the Inclusive Learning Unit have settled in to their new classroom at the TAFE campus.

With new facilities with views of the hills, the students have the ideal learning environment to complete their high school studies.
Once again they have begun their swimming activities on Fridays at Roebourne Aquatic Centre and are already showing greater swimming skills and water awareness.
Luke has commenced his “cafe” for staff on Thursdays and has a regular group of customers that enjoy his tasty treats and coffees.
The group is also preparing for fundraising to attend Country Week for the first time and follow a special programme of their own, whilst also being part of the whole school team and participating in whole school activities.
Both students and staff are looking forward to this new adventure and experience.
The students have all been given work placements and spend some time each week at various businesses in the community volunteering their services and gaining valuable experience that will assist with their future work endeavours.
This year is proving to be the busiest and most exciting yet!
