Every Wednesday evening the Karratha Hockey Association gather to play at the Bulgarra Tennis Courts.
Anyone can join and it’s not only a great way to get fit and discover those muscles you didn’t know existed but it’s also a great way to meet people.
On Wednesday 7th July it was a close face off between the red and yellow team.
The Red team finally crossed the line to finish 8 goals ahead of yellows 7 goals.
The yellow team came out fighting and dominated the attack in the first half only to be met by a blazing red defence.
The yellow team entered the second half with a one goal lead only to have their defence inundated with red players.
Damon Oliver blitzed the mid field with pace and skill while new comer Laura Ellery made an impact the wing.
Stand out players included Alison Steer, Jeremy Shor and Mark Kuether.
New members are always welcome.
Come and join us on Wednesday nights at the Bulgarra Tennis Courts at 6.30pm.
