The Cossack Bond store came to life on Saturday night for the 17th annual Cossack Art Awards. The historic building was transformed by a kaleidoscope of colour, exhibiting a diverse range of original pieces by local artists.

Guests were treated to a decadent array of canapes as the sun set over a tranquil Settlers Beach.
Acclaimed Fremantle artist Ron Nvisztor’s “Machine Sunset” earned the esteemed title of Best Overall Artwork.
Award judges Helen Carroll and Adam Cullen chose the “ambitious” piece from a collection of more than 270 entries, including 97 from local Pilbara artists.
Carroll described the event as “a joyful and celebratory award where the beauty of the region is reflected in the art.”
“The ambience and feel of this location (Cossack) makes it very special and unique.  It’s a delight to be involved in this fantastic event.”
You certainly don’t need to be an art expert to appreciate this breathtaking exhibition. The Cossack Art Awards exhibition will be open daily from 10am to 3pm until Sunday, 8th August.
All artwork is for sale, with the exception of the winning entries.
