Massive incentives to pay rates on time |

 Winner of the 2009 Rates Incentive Prize Draw The 2010/11 Town of Port Hedland Rates Incentive Program has just been approved and it’s bigger than ever.
The Rates Incentive Program is designed to attract early rates payments which can then be directed back into projects and services for the community.
For those ratepayers that pay their rates in full by the due date on 27th August and return their completed Rates Draw Form to Council’s offices by 4pm on the same day there is a chance to win prizes of a total value of over $35,000.
Mayor Kelly Howlett said “Paying your rates early is not always easy however it is very important to remember to do so.
For this reason we like to thank residents that pay in full and on time by giving them the opportunity to participate in the Rates Incentive Program, which has been made possible thanks to the valued support from local sponsors ”.
“Top prizes this year are a Nissan Micra inclusive of on-road costs and a Holiday Package for 2 to Bali that includes return flights, 7 night accommodation, breakfast and transfers. There are also a multitude of other prizes up for grabs such as 2 return flights to Darwin and several cash prizes of up to $2000”.
“Winning entries for the 2010/11 Town of Port Hedland Rates Incentive Program will be drawn on 1st September.
Those successful ratepayers will be invited to celebrate with a BBQ at the Civic Centre Gardens on Friday 17th September for the draw of prizes” the Mayor also added.
Residents will receive their rates notice inclusive of their draw entry form by the end of July. |
