On Friday 25th June, West Coast Eagles Player Nick Naitanui along with ex AFL player Peter Matera visited the children at St Paul’s Primary School.

Along with the two players was rising star Jaden Parker originally from Tom Price who now plays for the Swans Districts in Perth.
The three AFL players came to visit St Paul’s Primary, Peg’s Creek Primary and Dampier Primary School with the V Swans as part of their ten week Rio Tinto Sporting Community Program.
The program aims to help the Pilbara Community and teach children life skills as well as sport.
It also aims to educate children about coaching, leadership and decision making.
They also include a skills development clinic where the children get to play football with their role models.
At St Paul’s Primary School, week nine into the program, Nick Naitanui sat with the children and chatted about his career and what inspired him to play football, followed by an autograph signing.
Meanwhile Peter Matera conducted the skill development clinic outside.
The ten week program will come to an end with the big game on Saturday 3rd July at the Windy Ridge Oval, Dampier between the Swans Districts and East Perth.
